SnuggleKitties are safe: no small parts that can be chewed off and the belly pocket (where the heat packs and heart are inserted) is sealed off with a thick strip of Velcro.
Important Tip: While testing the Snuggle Kitty, it was found that placing a worn, human-scented sock inside the pocket reassures the pet. This works especially well when animals are being transported to unfamiliar places like the vet or kennels.
