Measuring Your Dog for a Correct Fit:
* Measure the back length of your dog from the base of the neck to base of the tail (where the tail begins).
* Measure chest/girth around the broadest part of the chest and add 2 inches.
* If your dog has a stout build, a deep chest, or is overweight, we recommend going up a minimum of one size.
* If your dog is long-backed, like a Dachshund, a smaller size is recommended.
* If your dog measures borderline, order 1 size larger
