Drinkwell Premium Replacement Filters keep water fresh and clean and are designed to fit any size Drinkwell Pet Fountain.
Each filter is constructed of two filtration pads: a duo density polyester pad catches large particles and a second carbon impregnated pad quickly removes bad tastes and odors that make water unappealing to drink.
Drinkwell Premium Filters feature a six compartment plastic frame that distributes granulated carbon throughout the filter cartridge, providing for a more thorough and complete filtration process.
It is recommended that Drinkwell Pet Fountain filters be changed every 4 weeks for dogs and 6 weeks for cats. (Tip: Many find that by rinsing a filter once a week, it will continue working well for 6 weeks or more.)
