PetzLife Oral Care Gel with Salmon Oil works fast to remove plaque and tartar from dogs' and cats' teeth while delivering Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. Oral Care Gel promotes healthy teeth and gums, and improves bad breath by killing bacteria on contact. This healthy, holistic approach to oral care reverses oral disease which can lead to heart, liver, and kidney disease.
Salmon oil was added to PetzLife Oral Care Gel for taste, but also adds additional health benefits. Dogs and cats need both Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids for optimal health and there is no better place to get them than salmon oil.

One 4 oz. bottle of PetzLife Oral Care Gel with Salmon will last up to 3 months when used as directed; up to 6 months if used as maintenance
Recommended Dosage:
* Small dogs & cats: 1/3 tsp.
* Medium dogs: 1/2 tsp.
* Large dog breeds: 1 tsp.
Directions:
* Apply gel to the largest area of tartar. You will notice your pet licking its lips repeatedly. This helps mix the ingredients with your pet's saliva to coat all surfaces of the teeth and gums.
* For the first week, use twice daily if there is heavy tartar build-up and/or red, inflamed gums.
* For normal build-up, one application per day is normally all that is needed.
* For best results, withhold food and water for 30 minutes before and after applications.
* Nighttime is best as it allows PetzLife Oral Care to work all night.
* Use a "soft" brush, finger brush, piece of gauze, or tissue to wipe the teeth after about 8 days. This helps to remove plaque and tartar that has been softened by the gel's ingredients.
* After 1 or 2 weeks inflammation should subside and breath should be improved.
* Usually, after 30 days, you can reduce applications to 2 to 3 times per week for maintenance.
* Your pet's plaque and tartar should not return with this recommended program.
Helpful Tips:
* For dogs who don't like having it put in their mouths, just pat some gel on the outside of their lips and they will lick it off. This works especially well for small lap dogs.
* Dogs love peanut butter and, if you place a smear of peanut butter on their dish and squeeze Oral Care Gel on top, they will happily lap it up.
* For cats, dab the gel on their lips and they will lick it in. Or, put the gel directly on the top of your cat's paws or on top of the hind legs and they will lick it off.
