The PetSafe Instant Fence Collar is compatible only with the PetSafe Instant Fence Wireless Pet Containment System. The receiver weighs only 2.5 ounces, and is 20% smaller than the previous receiver. It has 6 adjustable levels of correction, (from low to high, plus a beep-only mode) to match the receiver to each pet's temperament. In the event of a power failure, the collar is designed to recognize the signal deterioration and will not administer a correction. This collar is designed with a new battery cap module, making it a truly waterproof receiver. Because of its size, this receiver should be used by dogs over 10 pounds.

* Beep-only mode for training dogs and well-trained dogs who no longer require static correction
* Receiver Fail-Safe: If pet leaves correction zone, the receiver will shut down after 25 seconds to prevent over correction
* Protection against false signals: Only our transmitter can activate this receiver. Other brands' receivers can be activated by televisions, cordless phones, garage door openers, etc. We use filters and coded signals to prevent this.
