The Paws Aboard Doggie Boat Ladder is perfect for any dog you want to take out boating. It is also an excellent choice for overweight, older or arthritic dogs who need assistance into or out of a boat. Dogs find it easier to get out of the water and back on board with this floating boat ladder.

The Doggie Boat Ladder features a slip-resistant, ribbed design making it safe for dogs weighing less than 130 pounds. This dog boat ladder attaches securely to the ladder of most boats using a universal attachment grip. The ladder also detaches and floats next to the boat when the boat's ladder is needed for human use. Can be attached and removed in seconds and is rust and corrosion-proof. Washes easily with soap and water and is UV color fading resistant.

Measurements: 16" x 64" x 9" and folds in half for easy storage

Features:
* Made of ABS Plastic & Stainless Steel
* Makes a great boat ramp for older, arthritic, or overweight pets
* Reduces risk of pain & strain for dogs and owners
* Portable, light-weight and durable

Please Note: Even though the ladder floats, it should never be used as a flotation device. The Paws Aboard Dog Boat Ramp is not designed for human use.

Two Easy Steps for Training Your Dog to Use the Doggie Boat Ladder:

* Step One:
When you have moved out to the water, attach the ladder to your craft and begin enticing your pet to use the ramp by placing treats on the lower rungs. Call your pet as he swims toward the boat.

Step Two: Gradually move the placement of treats up the ladder rungs until the only treat left is sitting just above the ramp on the edge of the boat. Remember to praise your pet for using the ladder and offer encouragement with verbal commands.

Once your pet feels confident in using the ladder to climb aboard, he or she will start using the ladder to exit the boat on alone with little or no training needed.
